Jelly Donuts is an indica dominant hybrid strain with a ratio of 80% indica to 20% sativa. Its THC levels on average sit between 21% to 23% potency. This strain can be confused with another of a similar name, Grape Jelly Donut, and while also an indica hybrid, this other strain is a cross of Birthday Cake OG and Grape Sherbet. The Jelly Donut, however, has these two legends for parents: King Louis XIII (also known and shortened as King Louis, or Louis XIII) and the world famous Girl Scout Cookies (GSC). The former, King Louis XIII, is typically found and grown as an indica leaning hybrid with a ratio of 70% indica to 30% sativa, though some phenotypes offer a balanced indica/sativa ratio. A cross of OG Kush and LA Confidential, it’s a heavily potent strain with THC levels trending at 24% to 29% potency, and depending on the phenotype, may also offer 1% CBD as well as 1% CBN. Jelly Donut’s other parent, Girl Scout Cookies, needs little introduction. A multi-award winning strain, it is also an indica hybrid, offering around 28% THC, 1% CBD and 1% CBN with an array of delicious nutty, cookie flavours.
